Through our state-of-the-art health suites, we are committed to providing you with a hands-on practical experience during your studies here. Students will have the opportunity to gain work experience from local employers who offer educational support.

In addition to our full-time courses, we offer an Access to Higher Education course for those who seek the necessary qualifications to enter university. We also provide a part-time course, catering to those who are working while studying. With our expert staff available to guide you, you will acquire essential knowledge in health and social care, equipping you for future employment. Notably, our alumni include a student who studied at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and worked there while One Born Every Minute was being filmed.

Daily tasks:

  • Supervises the implementation of care and treatment plans by other healthcare providers.
  • Prepares and delivers lectures, undertakes research, and conducts and participates in clinical trials.
  • Refers patient to specialist where necessary and liaises with specialist.

  • Administers medical tests and inoculations against communicable diseases.
  • Diagnoses condition and prescribes and/or administers appropriate treatment/surgery.
