Kobe Hall

Kidderminster Harriers Academy Student and First Team Player
Kobe Hall
Kobe Hall started at Kidderminster College studying Level 3 Sport. Now, he is not only a member of the Kidderminster Harriers First Team, but he is the youngest player on the First Team, making his debut back in January 2023 at 16 years and 135 days.
Why did you choose KC and what did you enjoy about studying here?
I chose Kidderminster College because I was with the Under 15s when I was younger, and the opportunity to progress on at Kidderminster was through the college. I looked at the course and it looked right for me.
What’s been your biggest achievement?
For me, my biggest achievement was playing for the Kidderminster Harriers first team, and then getting my professional contract.
What was your biggest challenge?
The biggest challenge was the balancing between revising, lesson and training. I managed alright but it was challenging at times. I managed that by staying back after hours and putting in that extra hour of revising and doing my coursework with the tutors too.
What was a typical day like for you studying at KC?
For instance, on a Monday, I’d come in and do around an hour of Maths as I was retaking my GCSE, and then I’d go over to train. After training, I’d come back and have my college Sports lessons for a couple of hours.
The Sports and the education side go hand in hand, as nothing’s guaranteed in football. I’d say take the education side seriously as you’ll need the qualification, and let the football do the talking.
