Graduation 2024: Celebrating Success at Kidderminster College

Kidderminster College was delighted to welcome our graduates, along with their family and friends, to the stunning St. George’s Church for our Graduation 2024 ceremony. We came together to honour their dedication, hard work, and outstanding achievements during their time with us.

We were incredibly proud of every one of them. Reaching this milestone required immense commitment, resilience, and support. The day was a celebration of the end of their journey and the start of exciting new adventures. Surrounded by peers, loved ones, and supporters, we acknowledged the fantastic skills and attitudes they cultivated and looked forward to their future successes in their chosen fields.

At the ceremony, Principal Cat Lewis said, “Our graduation ceremony marks a significant milestone in the lives of our graduates. It not only symbolises the end of one chapter but also signifies the beginning of a new adventure. Our graduates have navigated challenges, embraced opportunities and persevered through late nights of study.  Now, armed with knowledge, skills and experiences, they stand on the cusp of an exciting future, filled with infinite possibilities.”

Kidderminster College, as a close-knit community, felt even more ambitious for our students' futures. Our unique approach provided a genuine alternative to university, featuring specialised teaching environments and smaller class sizes for a more personalised learning experience. We took pride in our strong connections with leading local employers, offering students work placements and dedicated one-on-one academic and pastoral support.

We continued to grow and remain committed to ensuring that incoming and continuing students this September would experience the same enriching journey as our graduates did.

We were also honoured to welcome our guest speaker, Phil Brown, Manager of Kidderminster Harriers. With a distinguished career in football management and a passion for success, Phil brought valuable insights and inspiration to our ceremony. His achievements, including guiding Hull City to their first-ever Premier League promotion and leading Southend and Barrow to significant milestones, demonstrated the power of dedication and perseverance.

Phil Brown’s commitment to excellence mirrored the spirit of Kidderminster College, and we were thrilled to have him join us in celebrating our graduates.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024! We hope they enjoyed their special day, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours. They will always be friends of the college, and their achievements marked just the beginning of a bright and successful journey.
