Obsessed with musical theatre? Dreaming of dazzling on the big stage? Well, get ready, because this course is your ticket to the spotlight!

You'll get professional training from our industry-experienced tutors who know the ins and outs of the musical theatre world. From singing to acting to dancing, you'll learn it all in our fun and intensive classes and workshops.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to put theory into practice. Throughout the two years, you'll dive into real-world skills and unleash your creative vision. Plus, you'll get loads of tips and tricks for kicking off your professional career.

Prepare to set foot on the West End and perform in our very own showcases. Previous performances by Ignite Musical Theatre include Bat Out of Hell, Heathers, RENT, Les Miserables, SIX and more!

We also work collaboratively with Ignite Acting and Ignite Technical Theatre, allowing you to create a bespoke training programme to best suit your dreams.

What can I do with a qualification in Musical Theatre?

Daily tasks:

  • Plays pre-recorded music at nightclubs, discotheques, and private functions.
  • Conducts interviews and prepares reports for news broadcasts, current affairs programmes and documentaries.
  • Introduces and presents radio and television programmes, reads news bulletins and makes announcements.
  • Trains animals to perform entertaining routines and may perform with them.
  • Performs singing, comedy, acrobatic, illusion and conjuring routines.
  • Assumes character created by a playwright or author and communicates this to an audience.
  • Studies script, play or book and prepares and rehearses interpretation.
