Award in Preparing to Work in Schools - Level 1

This course runs once a week for 3 hours. Days and times to be confirmed, closer to the time of the course starting.

You will be notified of the next available start date once you have submitted your application.

Learners do not need to be working or undertaking practical placements to take this qualification

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools.

• Understand schools as organisations
• Understand how to keep children and young people healthy, safe and well and
• Understand how to communicate with children, young people and adults

Lessons are held at the college.

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods which could include: written assignments or tasks such as designing a leaflet or booklet, charts or diagrams, or setting up an information board.
